A balance of wins and fails
The attentive staff showcased exceptional professionalism and the sea-view room was beautifully clean creating an inviting atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the absence of air conditioning made it quite uncomfortable, and I experienced delays during check-in which was disappointing.

Sketchy experience
So, I stayed 5 nights in a room where the TV was just awkwardly sitting on the minibar. I even found a crab behind the bath! The decor looks like it hasn't been updated since the 90s. At least the bed was comfy, and the staff were polite, but I expected way more for the price. The valet messed up our car too.

I just wrapped up an awesome weekend here with my family, where we enjoyed the heated indoor pool and the amazing spa treatments. My only issue was the room decor could use a little update, but it didn’t take away from the fun we had. 🌊

My stay at Hotel Barriere was wonderful! The stunning sea view from my room captivated me every morning. The attentive staff, especially the concierge, truly enhanced my experience. I did find the absence of air conditioning a bit uncomfortable at times, but overall, it was a lovely getaway.

Highly recommend for family travelers
Spent time at a gorgeous room with stunning sea views. The staff were not just helpful but went above and beyond when my kid lost a toy at the pool, they made sure it was found quickly and even left a small note in our room.
It was pricy but for the experience, downright reasonable.

Stunning views and attentive service
I had a wonderful experience staying in a Junior Suite Sea View, where the breathtaking views of St Malo were absolutely a highlight. The staff were incredibly attentive, and the breakfast was a delight with freshly made pastries and an omelet bar. However, the room could use some updating to enhance comfort further.
